Scotland has the longest and most diverse coastline in the UK. Our seas are home to half of Scotland’s wildlife. Yet less than 1% of Scotland’s seas are even recognised as important for marine species and habitats. Without better protection, we risk losing some of our most important marine wildlife forever.
